A note on how this works
Message monitoring reads content already stored on the device through Android's accessibility and notification services. It requires the relevant permission to be granted during setup, and only works for apps you've enabled monitoring for. We recommend telling your child which apps are covered — see our transparency guidance in the FAQ.
