Built by parents who wanted less guessing.
NestSafe started as a way to answer one question honestly: is my kid okay right now? Everything since has been in service of answering that without turning parents into full-time investigators.
Why we built this
Most monitoring tools were either built for corporate IT departments, or built to hide entirely from the person using the device. Neither felt right for a family. We wanted something a parent could set up in one sitting, explain to their kid honestly, and actually check without dread.
NestSafe is deliberately narrow: it watches location, communication, and screen time, the three things parents consistently tell us matter most, and stays out of everything else.
Principles behind the product
Consent-first design
NestSafe is built for use with the knowledge of the device owner or their legal guardian, not for hiding from anyone.
Only what's needed
Each module requests only the permission it strictly requires, nothing bundled in.
Built to be checked, not stared at
Digests and alerts do the watching, so you don't have to open the app constantly.
